These are the erection maintenance tension rings — not the internal O-rings. The tension rings are the silicone rings placed at the base of the penis after vacuum therapy to maintain the erection. If you need the internal O-rings that maintain the vacuum seal inside the Vacurect pump mechanism, see the Vacurect O-Ring Kit.
Replacement tension rings for the Vacurect vacuum erection device — sold individually in all 11 available sizes so users can reorder their specific size or try a size outside those included in the original kit. The standard Vacurect OTC kit includes the five most commonly needed sizes (1 through 5); this page makes all remaining sizes available individually for users who need a smaller or larger ring. The size number is imprinted directly on the ring itself for easy reorder identification — locate the number on your current ring and order that size. Fits Vacurect Models 1001 and 1002. Water-based lubricant only — silicone oil and petroleum-based lubricants degrade the silicone ring material and significantly shorten its service life. Maximum 30-minute wear per session. By Bonro Medical / Vacurect / Mainspring Medical. Ships discreetly in plain, unmarked packaging.
Finding Your Size — February 2011 Numbering Change
Vacurect updated its tension ring numbering system in February 2011. Rings manufactured before that date used a different numbering system than current rings. The rings themselves did not change — only the size numbers printed on them.

How Tension Rings Work — And When to Replace Them
After vacuum therapy produces an erection inside the cylinder, the tension ring is slid from the base of the cylinder onto the base of the penis before the cylinder is removed. The ring maintains the erection by gently restricting venous outflow — blood flows in but exits more slowly, keeping the erection firm for up to 30 minutes.
Tension rings are reusable but degrade over time with regular use. Signs it's time to replace a ring:
- The ring feels less firm or elastic than when new
- The erection is not maintained as effectively as it was previously
- The ring shows visible wear, cracking, or discoloration
- The ring was exposed to silicone oil or petroleum-based lubricant, which degrade the silicone material
Critical Care Rules
-
Water-based lubricant only — silicone oil and petroleum-based lubricants (including Vaseline, baby oil, and most massage oils) degrade the silicone ring material, making it brittle and reducing its effective life significantly; use only water-based personal lubricant with Vacurect tension rings
-
30-minute maximum wear per session — remove the tension ring at the 30-minute mark regardless of whether the erection has subsided; wearing the ring beyond 30 minutes restricts blood circulation to the tissue for longer than is safe; this rule applies to all VED tension rings, not just Vacurect
-
Clean after each use — rinse the ring with mild soap and warm water after use; allow to dry completely before storing
-
Store away from heat and direct sunlight — silicone degrades faster with prolonged heat or UV exposure; store rings in the case or pouch that came with your Vacurect device
