The vacuum can be created at varying speeds depending on how fast the handle is pumped. The Pos-T-Vac Ultra MVP is a very discreet system since there is no motor to create noise.

The Pos-T-Vac Ultra MVP pump head has both internal and external safety release valves. The internal safety release valve automatically activates if the vacuum has created too much pressure. The user can activate the external safety release valve by pressing the red button on the pump head.
